A fun, family-suitable stop while in Deadwood. The Old-west style saloon serves homemade rootbeer and sasparilla and birch beer. The bartender was super helpful with both drink recommendations and recommending which sights in town should be seen. The shop also offers a variety of tourists gifts.

RECOMMENDATIONS: Sample the homemade rootbeers and the “Dirty Deadwood” which consists of Dr. Pepper, coconut, cream and strawberry puree.

Try Rocky Mountain Oysters at Buffalo Bodega Complex

When in Deadwood, you must try the Rocky Mountain Oysters which is a fancy name for fried bull testicles. Similar to chicken nuggets, the dish is served with ranch, bbq or cocktail suace.
